What is a Modular Home

    A modular home is a home that meets or exceeds all local building codes such as 2000 I.R.C. and B.O.C.A.  Today's modular homes are constructed in a factory, usually in two or more sections, and then transported to the buyer's home site and placed on a foundation or basement.

What kind of features are available?

    Today's modular homes come with a long list of "standard" features.  They are available in a variety of floor plans that include spacious living and dining rooms with vaulted ceilings, fully equipped modern kitchens, elegant bedrooms with walk-in closets, and bathrooms with recessed bathtubs and whirlpools.  In addition to these, you have the option of changing everything from the floor plan to the color and thickness of the carpeting.  Other amenities such as garages, decks, sidewalks and landscaping are finished after the home is delivered.  Today's modular homes offer you the ability to customize your home to fit your taste and lifestyle...all for less than the cost of a site-built home.

What kind of financing is available?

Like most homebuyers, a loan will be required from a lending institution to finance your home purchase.  We can provide information on financing and assist you in submitting an application for a loan.  Most lenders require a minimum down payment of 5 upto 20 percent and will have loan terms ranging from 15 to 30 years.  Normally a construction loan is required for a very short time.   In some instances, the construction loan is not necessary.
