A modular home is a home that meets or exceeds all local
building codes such as 2000 I.R.C. and B.O.C.A. Today's modular homes are constructed
in a factory, usually in two or more sections, and then transported to the
buyer's home site and placed on a foundation or basement.
Today's home builders have found that it is easier to
control costs and maintain consistent construction quality by using
factory-built components. the factory construction process is what allows
modular homes to offer the winning combination of quality construction at a
price you can afford. In a factory environment, all aspects of the
construction process are controlled. The weather doesn't interfere or
cause costly delays. There are no independent, uncontrolled, and expensive
subcontractors to deal with. All workers are on the same team and
efficiently supervised. Inventory is better controlled and materials are
securely protected from theft.
The modular home industry continually
introduces new, innovative, and cost-saving building techniques which contribute
to the quality, safety, and durability of the homes,
Today's modular homes come with a long list of "standard"
features. They are available in a variety of floor plans that include
spacious living and dining rooms with vaulted ceilings, fully equipped modern
kitchens, elegant bedrooms with walk-in closets, and bathrooms with recessed
bathtubs and whirlpools. In addition to these, you have the option of
changing everything from the floor plan to the color and thickness of the
carpeting. Other amenities such as garages, decks, sidewalks and
landscaping are finished after the home is delivered. Today's modular
homes offer you the ability to customize your home to fit your taste and
lifestyle...all for less than the cost of a site-built home.
